Ok, it's Sunday before election day. I don't care - actually that is a big fat lie as I care oh so very much - whom you vote for . . . but VOTE!
If you don't VOTE, you lose your right to bitch.
I ask only that you do your homework & vote intelligently. That is all.
...tho if you know what is going on around you, you will realize that you live - should live that is - in a Republic not a Democracy. Don't know what that even means? Maybe you shouldn't vote after all.

The price is too high . . .
The price of security from the so-called "Threat of Terrorism" is too god-damn high. Out country is becoming a "B" Sci-Fi movie. "They" keep telling us - over & over & over - that all these restrictions & retentions of our personal liberties are to protect us. First & formost they certainly don't do that. TSA - are you kidding me? Random road checks? NDAA (& do you even know what that means?)? 30,000 drones to be in OUR skies x 2015? ...& did you even know that? I won't go on...but I will tell you this: there will come a time, perhaps not in my lifetime, that "We the People..." will have had enough. Throughout history there comes a time when people will simply throw off the yolk.
I do realize that because of the ubiquitous credit-card that we all live above our means - & that keeps us leashed to the banks...& why do you think everything is so expensive? Because no one has to pay right there, right then. It's on credit...& the friggin' banks are making a fortune on YOU! For every dollar you spend you're paying anywhere from $1.08 (if you can show them you don't need credit) to upwards of $1.23 - or more if you really do need credit! ...& again do you even realize that?
...& as in most bad sci-fi movies there is the drug that keeps the people enthrolled. Our population is drugged to the max. They are giving MAOI's to 3 year olds! Did you get that: 3 year olds...not just your skitzy girlfriend or your infirmed grand-ma. No. Everyone. ...& "Big Pharm" is making as much as the banking consortium. ...& if you're not taking chemicals, you're hypnotized every night electronically x that thing we all are addicted to: TV.
No? Look closer.
History shall judge us harshly. Very harshly.

e-mail excerpt...
...Actually I knew that - where the pic's were from - BUT screw'm. I don't know how much you've dealt w/ Arabs. They understand one, & one thing only: might. I went to school w/ them; I've been in business w/ them; I've had a Lebanese partner - whom I thought was as a brother. I'm part Lebanese. Syrian actually as part of Syria was hacked off to become Lebanon - in a number of ventures. Never forget they are first & foremost out for themselves...the singular. Nothing else counts. Not even other Arabs. It's in the blood: some of it in their sand. The constant strife. Today it's the West. Yesterday it was the tribes. Tomorrow? Again, you must realize they are like the Chinese - they take the long view. And again, you must realize the arrogance of their view that they & only they, are the "chosen". That "infidel" thing is the underpinning of their psyche...& it's real. Very real. I say: fuck'm. Kill 'em all & let Allah sort'm out!!! ...& I guarantee Iran is trying to make "the bomb"...& will if possible, eradicate Israel...& by extension, The West. That means ME!!!...& my country. I say: no. Take them out now, while we can.
The bigger question is: if we do challenge Iran, do we - the US - have the will to do what is necessary? My humble answer is: no...based on the past 50 years & our politically correct, media salving "Overlords."

e-mail exerpt . . .
...this is about Krugman's column in the NYT today (120611)
. . .
By the way how is that austerity thing working out?
*** never been a proponent of "...that austerity thing...".
Les'see now - should I say this one more time in the misguided hope that you may just read it & may just comprehend it? Well ok...just watched "Uncle Drew" (http://devour.com/video/uncle-drew/) again, man that was something so I'm in a particularly magnanimous mood...well anyway(z) are you ready? Ok here goes: IT'S ALL FUCKING BROKEN! ALL OF IT!! TOP TO BOTTOM!!! The country was raped back in Oct.'08 x those cock-suckers at Goldman-Sachs w/ their point-man Henry "Hank" Merritt Paulson. We ALL are to blame - my only regret in my own complicity is I didn't get a fucking dime! - ALL of us because we let it happen! Since then the "Haves" have run rough-shod over any & all that get in their way w/o even the pretense of civility.
Point 2: "The Swells" have given us - thru a system so totally compromised to be all but a shell - an arrogant Socialist & an empty suit. Great choice, eh?
Now pay attention boy-o: THE WHOLE THING IS A FUCKING SHAM. THE SYSTEM IS SO CO-OPTED THAT IT IS DEFACTO NON-EXISTENT. Jefferson, Franklin, Adams & the boys gave us "...a republic if we can keep it..." (BF). Well lad, we can't. We didn't. So I pose this to you "all knowing, all seeing" one: what now?

"...never allow the enemy to impose his will upon you..."
- Sun Tzu
...& who might our enemy be?
...depends on your definition.
My definition is having another force dominion upon one for no other reason than the act of domination.
My rather personal & obscure point is I am beginning to see my government as the enemy. NOT my country. Please understand that...but the overbearing, over-reaching gaggle of know-nothing crooks in DC. That disconnected bunch has almost reached it's limits - if "We the People..." are going to continue to be free & carry on this "...grand experiment...".
As I've pointed out elsewhere the definition of terrorism is: "...systematic covert warfare to produce terror for political coercion...". Now my friends, who(m?) does that sound like? What group of sociopaths does that remind you of?
November of this year is our last hope - as it may already too late to bring us back from the brink. But please vote, even if your only choice is an avowed Marxist or an "empty suit".

It's been almost . . .
...two months since I've been here.
Unconscionable!!!
To my one loyal reader I shall try to do better, but I still haven't gotten another computer. This laptop is tough!
Anyway(z) what brings me here today? It's April 19. You don't have a clue as to what that means? No surprise. Look it up.

this is the first . . .
...time I've been able to access my account in about 2 weeks & all my pictures, cartoons, etc., have been lost. Hacked? Why? I'm nobody, but . . . ?
I'll try to make this brief as no one wants to read a novel.
Read the Declaration of Independence for yourself. A friend told me to do just that a few weeks ago & I thought that as I do read it periodically, there was no need. There is a need. Read it & be pissed off - even if you're convinced you "know it all", do it...even if your a-political, do it. Just friggin' do it.

So as of today our choice for the President of the United States w/ all that implies is:

2. Mitt Romney
3. Newt Gingrich

couple of random thoughts . . .
1) I've been quiet about the Marines that pissed on the dead Taliban. I know I'm about to offend most everyone, but so what? WHO GIVES A SHIT? Think they deserve respect? ...killing indescriminately ...stoning & shooting women ...chopping off people's heads? ...raping ...on & on & on. They all ought to be rounded up & covered in pig excrement (a' la Gen. Black Jack Pershing) & shot in the fucking head! Don't like that kind of talk? Tough shit & go fuck yourself! You ever been on a killing-field? No? Then see above - double - & shut your fucking mouth.
2) Obama is an obomination. Romney is a hack. "We the People..." have to choose? ...& lose!
3) my computer burned up - literally - & this laptop is killing me. Made for children's fingers & children's eyes. So you're lucky that I'm about to close this & let you off the hook because I've lots more to say.

Will someone . . .
...please explain to me how this is even possible in MY country. This isn't Iran, North Korea, etc. ...at least not the last time I checked.
National Defense Authorization Act
Does this mean the 4th A is no longer in effect?
Does this mean "Habeas Corpus" is no longer in effect?
...& we sit docilely by & let it all happen.
Question: what is the definition of terrorism?
Answer: "...systematic covert warfare to produce terror for political coercion."
Question: who or what does that sound like?
Answer: the Central Government of the United States...the Senate...the Congress.
Question: what does that mean - exactly?
Answer: the Government of the United States has become the enemy.
Game. Set. Match.
"We the People..." lose

Again . . .
...I must apologize for not adding content as I promised, but to be truthful, I'm overwhelmed w/ what continues to be foisted upon us x our all-knowing, all-seeing benevolent gov't.
It is post-Thanksgiving so the campaigns will now begin in earnest - minus of course, the six week Holiday break. Quick thought: do you make a base salary just under $200,000 (remember that is the base w/o the extras for committees, perks, etc.) & have a six week Holiday break?
Anyway, just remember this: if Obama is returned to power he will be unfettered to pursue his personal agenda being a "lame duck". Think long & hard on that.

apologies and . . .
There is much to discuss of late & I've been remiss in my duties to my one or two loyal followers. I AM sorry & I shall be here more often until I "catch up".
...but I'll allow Scott Olsen (thru "aburger") speak for me today:
...but I'll allow Scott Olsen (thru "aburger") speak for me today:
As God is my witness. I will fight tooth and nail to restore the decency this country was founded upon. The politicians, banks and large corporations have ruined this country. I find it difficult to notice any sense of politeness on the streets anymore. But it goes farther. As a Marine and a citizen I am outraged. I am sick to death of the world my children are being raised in.
So I ask all of you, can you too sense the tipping point? When will enough be enough? If not now, when? I feel the problem is that the average Joe citizen is ignorant and comfortable. These, in addition to selfishness have become the standard for the majority of the population. As long as people are comfortable they remain silent. Well, I’m really fucking uncomfortable and I’m sick of seeing this sort of shit happening. The Occupy protests that are going on are our first glimmer of hope. If we can take this and move it further, get every lazy ass off their rocker and open their eyes; then maybe, just maybe we have a chance.
Semper Fi brothers, and remember who you are. Protectors of a great nation, not politicians or wealthy money grubbing bankers and the like. When it comes time, I know we’ll stand strong.

Labor Day?
...w/ unemployment at a reported - now remember that does NOT include those whose benefits have run out or have been out of work so long they are the "chronically unemployed" - 9.1%. Virtually unchanged since April.
When is this gov't going stop lying? ...& when is the media going to stop being complicit? After the next election? Sorry to tell you fools, the people have finally been paying attention.
ps . . . & where exactly is all the money spent so that unemployment will never get above 8%? ...& where has all that money - OUR MONEY!!! - gone? Exactly?
Bulletin: the Central Government is a bunch of liars & crooks & it has gotten so bad that the "...emperor has no clothes."!!!

Guest column:
"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property - until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."

His newly created comic hero: Sackless Man!!!

"Sackless Man!' Able to grovel a the slightest tremor. More sniveling than a Jewish daughter. Able to whine at the drop of a dime!
It's SACKLESS MAN!
What the White Race has become in forty years! Once the ruler of the world, now quivering and nail biting in the corner...........deathly afraid he might OFFEND SOMEONE"!

interesting but . . .
...not the real issue. Never forget Goldman-Sachs' butt-boy Henry (Hank to his friends) Paulson orchestrated the theft of $750B minimum - yes, remember that back in October of '08? - from the taxpayers & told us point blank "...no congressional oversight...no judicial review..."! And he got away w/ it!!! The friggin' people & their Congress are cattle...& so, we get what we settle for.

Please take the next few days thinking about what the date July 4 is all about.
You don't need me telling you what I think - it'd be like someone explaining what was happening as you watched a sunrise. I won't ruin it. Sort it out in your own words what our legacy is & what it means...& how close we are to losing it all.

a friend . . .
...recently e-mailed me & asked why I have not had any new "rants" here. Well to be honest the previous post says it all. Seeing that kind'a took the wind out of my sails. I wrote him back & this is the "ps" to my e-mail.
"ps as you well know, it always comes down to the same thing: money. What has happened to this country since the end of WWII is one of the biggest crimes perpetrated on any culture since Caesar crushed the Celts, but is has not been one man's insatiable appetite. No - it's more pitiful than that. We've been "conned" out of our inheritance & have given it up willingly...well, perhaps not willingly but we've "given" it none-the-less."
The truth in the above sickens me...

http://finance.yahoo.com/banking-budgeting/article/112698/housing-crash-getting-worse-marketwatch?mod=bb-budgeting
Just another one of "their" outright lies! ...& "they" continue to spoon-feed you lie, after lie, after lie - & you continue to lo-in-the-meadow. What is it going to take to make you wake up? Yes, that is rhetorical.

& now for somemore "Malarkey" . . .
I have refrained from making comment about the OBL death. Initaially I didn't like the smell - no pictures, no DNA, killed w/ gun, kia w/o gun, burial at sea, et al., but I've come around. I think - operative word: think - that it happened pretty much the way it was reported. Tho I still have questions, there is no doubt eliminating him & not making him a martyr was the right & smart thing to do. Congratulations Team-Six...& thank you.
Mr. President - I am normally never on your side, but taking OBL out was correct & not giving a long-winded speech at "Ground Zero" was classy. Keep it up.
Now on to other "stuff". I read all the papers every day - more or less - & today they reported: "...unemployment above 9%..."; "...strong job report shows economy gaining steam..."; "...up to 500,000 new jobs created...", etc. Now is it any wonder that the "Fourth Estate" has ZERO credibility any longer? They - the press - were to be our "watchdogs", but they have been so co-opted x the corporations who own them that they may be in a tight race w/ the politicians to see who is the most dismissed.
I read the commodities market every day & oil has gone below $99 / bbl - down almost $14. The pump shows a $00.01 drop in price. If crude goes up $2/bbl the price at the pump jumps 10-cents in a day...& we continue to take it. Baaa...
People - are you paying attention to anything going on around you? Rhetorical.

Do you think for one moment that the oil companies give one crap about what the prices are? They'll make "theirs" no matter what. Why does Europe pay E9 for a gallon? ...because they drive small efficient cars! Surprise! ...& do you think for one moment that cutting off $4B (tho not even a blip on their radar: ie Exxon made $11B profit this quarter) in subsides won't get to your wallet? "Shit flows down hill" as my old DI use to say. MORONS - get with it! Wake up & learn the rules!!...at least the basics, ferchris'ake!!! ...or continue to bend over w/ your drawers down.

mooo . . .
...bits & pieces:
"...At the current price, the government would lose more than $11 billion, but the Obama administration is willing to accept the loss in order to cut its last ties to the auto manufacturer, the newspaper said, citing unnamed sources." --- this is a story about CenGov getting out of GM. Do you see "...the government would lose more than $11 billion, but the Obama administration is willing to accept the loss in order to cut its last ties to the auto manufacturer..." Do you morons out there get that? The Obama Administration is willing to endure the loss? The Gov't will lose $11 B! Hey fools, the friggin' Gov't doesn't produce anything. It hasn't a dime - other than what it wastes of yours that it steals under the guise of income tax. Don't you see any of that?
"...the Debt is at an all time high of #14.3 trillion dollars." Again, do you even have a hazy notion what that means? Tell you what, the Chinese do!
The US Dollar continues to slide. Check the commodities yourself - right there in the left column. Do you know what THAT means? Tell you what - again - the Chinese do!
Gold over $1500 / oz. Why'zat?
Gas predicted to go to $6 x summer - & you can bet if "they" predict that, it'll be a whole lot more! Do you know what that means? I bet you think you do, but it'll effect every facet of your existence - & the oil companies will realize record profits. Mooooooooo...
I can't go on. You cattle out there, lowing to yourselves, deserve what you have already gotten & what you have coming...
take the 45 seconds...

today is . . .
...the anniversary of Lexington & Concord. Do you even have an inkling of what that means? ...then? ...now?
Gas is over $4.00 / gal. & headed to $5+. Check the Quarterlies. The gas companies are making record profits once again - on your back. This country has regulations for everything. From your bumper to your bedroom. Now why do you suppose they refuse to regulate the oil companies? Because they - all of 'em: your president, senator & rep - all of them: owned x the monied interests (read: big-corp - aka big-oil, big-pharm, big-banks, big-etc.) & what do we do? Better question is what CAN we do?
"They" are aware of our apathy. "They" count on it. "They" produce major strategies on the assumption that we - the cattle - might bitch a bit, but then put our heads back down, graze quietly & give "them" no more trouble. "They" have fabricated the system to produce drey animals...& that is YOU. And I'm ashamed to say, ME.
So what can we do? I don't have an answer. I continue to bark-at-the-moon...but those boys back in 1775 had had enough. I've had enough too, but what do I do? Pound a stupid keyboard. I'm "cowed" like the rest of us...& I am ashamed.

musings...
Just sitting around thinking on a warm Sunday afternoon on my back deck about the state of things. I promise not to bore you w/ my thought-process, but give it some thought yourself.
How have we come to the state of affairs we find ourselves? The entire world is in turmoil. The "have-nots" seem to finally have had enough, but that may not actually be the case...nor the cause. Time will tell.
...& how have we here in the States allowed the whole country to become an armed camp? The cops now pull you over & ask "...where are your papers"? You don't have to be black or brown. Everyone is "suspect".
...& the rich - & semi-rick - all live in these gated-communities. Walls to keep people out also keep people in.
The world has become an armed camp. How has this happened? We - humans - set the rules. Take a ride on your imagination for a moment & you're flying in on your saucer from another planet & look down & see the dominant species all killing each other - & those not actively engaged in that pursuit, are preparing. I mean, "WTF - over"? Would you stop x to have some tea? Well being here on the ground, I'll just keep my powder dry - & prepared - & hope "they" never come onto my back deck.
...& this label "terrorist"? What does that mean exactly? Keeping all the people frightened / terrorized? Well it seems to me then, that our Central Government is a terrorist organization. No? "Heresy" you say? Look closer.
Maybe I'm just an old fart, who like all the old-farts before me, lived in a better (different? ...no definitely better. Definitely.) time & are just grumpy & grouchy x the fact of being around so long.
I don't know. What I do know is that this whole set-up ain't right & doesn't have to be this way.

Question:
I just spoke to a friend of mine & they - the miserable gangster-banks - are taking his house. He's tried every single one of the CenGov's "programs" & been denied. He has a job - he's always had a job. Good credit. Always paid his bills. The bank refused to work w/ him on either a payment reduction or re-do of his mortage to one of the gov-sponsored "lower" rate plans.
Now here is my question: do any of you "out there" know of anyone, anywhere that has been helped x these gov't programs that we hear so much about from those bank-owned crooks in DC or the bank-owned media?...even hear of anyone? ...anywhere? I haven't...& I've been trying to find someone who has.
All that money stolen from you in October of '08 & all that money stolen from you since has gone directly into the banks pockets. Am I wrong? Just show me where I'm wrong. Please.
How can we continue to allow this to happen? No one, anywhere, speaks up. Me? I continue to bark at the moon.

Guest Opinion...
"I would not have involved our military in Libya. For one thing, I see no reason why the Arab League, which gave the no-fly zone notion a big thumbs-up, doesn't take on that job. They have pilots and jets. Why is it that America and the European nations always have to do their dirty work? All it ever gets us is the ongoing hatred and resentment of Arabs and Muslims. Besides, unlike most people, I have not been sitting on the sidelines rooting for the rebellion forces in the Middle East. I do not confuse enemies of my enemies with friends. I have no reason to think that when the smoke clears, we are going to see a lot of George Washingtons and Thomas Jeffersons running any of those moral swamplands. It is far likelier that Al Qaeda, Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood and Hezbollah, will fill any and all power vacuums in that part of the world, with the mullahs in Tehran pulling their collective strings. ... I am not suggesting that the U.S. military should never venture out beyond our borders, but we should have a better reason for doing so than because CNN is showing us one bunch of anti-American creeps killing another bunch of anti-American creeps. In short, we should not be letting the 6 o'clock news determine our foreign policy."

What have we learned in 2.066 years?
"The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled,
public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be
tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should
be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to
work, instead of living on public assistance."

This little excerpt from JPFO says so much.
So very much.
" . . .
But do you know what really scares me now? I’m praying that Wikileaks doesn’t have anything on our sacrosanct BATFE. I’m hoping beyond hope that Wikileaks' Julian Assange realizes how important the BATFE is to our personal liberty here in America and doesn’t rock the boat. Some things are best just kept secret. Secrecy is really important to freedom because the truth threatens freedom. So lies actually protect your freedom. Got it?

I have refrained...
...from commenting on Tuesday's SOTU address x our illustrious leader, as I knew someone would do it for me better than I could...more directly to the point:

The Congressional Budget Office released new budget estimates Wednesday predicting that the federal deficit will reach a record of nearly $1.5 trillion this year, or almost 25 percent of GDP. The national debt is fast approaching its current $14.3 trillion ceiling. This grim news came less than 12 hours after Barack Obama tried to sound a note of fiscal responsibility in his State of the Union address -- a speech during which the federal debt increased by another $100 million.

Israeli Security Expert: U.S. Must Profile Passengers
As controversy swirls over the use of full-body scanners at U.S. airports, the former security director for Israel’s national airline says airline security in America is an “illusion” and the U.S. should profile passengers to ensure safety.Isaac Yeffet was security chief for El Al Israel Airlines, which requires every passenger to be interviewed by a well-trained agent before check-in. Agents then perform electronic body scans or searches only on those who arouse suspicions during the interview.
El Al is considered the most secure airline in the world, and has experienced only one hijacking in its history.
Yeffet told CNSNews that American airlines should use “exactly the same system” as El Al.“Yes, profiling,” he said. “Every passenger has to be interviewed by security. We have to be polite. We know how to ask questions.” The U.S. Transportation Safety Administration “wants to tell me we now have security in this country — this is an illusion,” Yeffet said. "Technology in general can never replace a qualified and well-trained human being.”
The El Al approach is in sharp contrast to procedures in America, which call for body scanning every passenger, and patting them down if they opt out of the scan or if something suspicious shows up on the images.
Yeffet said it is unnecessary to search “innocent people,” and security should instead focus on determining if a passenger is suspicious by intensively interviewing them. “We at El Al have used the hand/body search for so many years, but we did it only to suspicious passengers that were interviewed by us.”
Opponents of adopting El Al’s security approach in the United States say it would violate passengers’ civil rights by allowing some to be more intensely scrutinized than others, CNSNews reported. But Yeffet says the pre-flight interviews have enabled El Al to identify “the right people that are trying to blow up an aircraft or commit suicide.” -WND

I believe we have an historic opportunity to end this needless harassment at airports because of the groundswell of public opinion that is with us.
Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano told Americans this week the show would go on. She told us to endure the "inconvenience" and urged full compliance.
In other words, she doesn't get it. She has no clue as to the deep-seated resentment and anger Americans are feeling with regard to this program (w/ regard to our arrogant, overbearing government).
Let's write her a postcard & inform her she is NOT the boss, we are.

2 DAYS & COUNTING...
"Either this is just the end of a big election that rolls back a few important mistakes, but basically changes little besides who gets the good parking spaces and whose staffers get to cash in for a few years. Or this is the beginning a great reformation that will take America back for liberty. It's up to the people. We are so close. In 50 years in politics, I have never seen as large a percentage of the public self-motivated for reformation. That said, do your homework & be very careful of where your vote goes. The Socialists MUST go, but don't just substitute one master for another; one clown for another. The freakin' Republicans have their own agenda - not the least of which is to control your personal life.
Think long & hard about whom you want to "lead" this nation - "lead" you!. Do you want more of the same? ...& the "same" is the crooks of various stripe that have been in office for the past 100+ years.
My personal position is to throw all the crooks out. Let's start fresh. Oh, I can hear you saying "...but they are people we don't know, etc." & that is correct. Do not get into the mind-set of "...better the devil we know, than..." for that is exactly the thinking that has keep these dolts in power for all this time. You would be correct to say "we don't know" what these new people are capable of. You are right. See? What we do know is what the New Royals are capable of & that is what we don't want. THAT is what must end. You are right again.

". . . that said, I was finishing my run this morning & bumped into some friends & we got to talking politics - NOT my idea, mind you - & when you look anywhere & everywhere none of our policies make any god-damned sense what-so-ever. None. Zero. Nunca. Nada. None. So what is it that makes our policy makers so blind? Answer: money. That is it. The whole of it. Trying to make sense of the senseless is an exercise in futility. Until we stop - & I do mean stop x whatever means necessary - this hijacking of our country, our money, our rights, our everything so the few can get disgustingly rich(er) it will continue. To try to speak rationally on the subject is to miss the point. Anyone who looks for a moment will see it - the subject - as irrational. Why? It is because they've taken their collective eye off the prize. It is the money. And if that ugly boogie-man is never dragged from under the bed & into the light, the business of government shall continue as usual."

conversation w/ a friend on the beach...
"...in Publix (local grocery chain) the old folks line up in the morning for free coffee...they wait in line for the little free food samples...every day...". Did you understand that? Do you truly understand the implications of that little snippet of conversation?
Our people - our very own people - are going hungry...especially the elderly. That fool at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue gives away billions - his inane predecessor was equally guilty - to anyone & everyone, but our own people are in such dire straights. Social Security - upon which many, many elderly solely rely - is NOT getting a simple "cost of living" adjustment for the next two years! Do you understand that? The SS fund has been raped x the arrogant clowns - who, x the way, do not pay into it. They have their own little "fund" - in the building next door. Aaaggghhh!!! ...& don't be griping about the old-farts either. They did NOT have a say in weather they did or did not have to pay into it. It - Social Security - is NOT an entitlement. Get that. Don't let those crooks in Congress tell you differently. That money was taken from each & every one of us every week of our lives. That is NOT government largess - an oxymoron in any event. No. That is our own money, but to hear the bloated monster we call gov't "it is a gift." That - SS -was suppose to be "untouchable", but those arrogant, venial thives in DC have been stealing from it for decades & now they tell us, "we" have to do something or it's going to be broke x 2032 or pick-a-date x whomever you read. I have a suggestion about what to do: "...get a rope...".
Our country is so off track, so fucking lost, it is beyond comprehension...especially for us that have been around long enough to remember a better - much - time.
I've said time & time again that if MLK were the only one trying to change the tide against blacks, they'd still be in the back of the bus. What is needed now is a political Malcolm X; a political H. Rap Brown; a political SLA - tho we all know that extremism to the point of murder is unacceptable. What is needed is some radicalism just this side of it. Someone has got to step up to the plate or this monstrosity we call a government will - "...will..."!? Now that in an understatement of unrivaled proportions! - continue to run roughshod over us all until there is nothing left but roadkill.
I'm sick of it all. Are you? Had enough? VOTE (Nov. 2) - not for an incumbent; not for a Democrat; not for a Republican, but one who has your values - your country's lost values - at heart. Read. Learn. Think for yourself. Do your homework. You MUST, you simply must or we're all lost...it'll be science fiction at its worst...& we're almost there folks. We're almost there.

eMail from a friend...
Read & remember that last line.
"...most people prefer to believe that their leaders are just and fair, even in the face of evidence to the contrary, because once a citizen acknowledges that the government under which he lives is lying and corrupt, the citizen has to choose what he or she will do about it. To take action in the face of corrupt government entails risks of harm to life and loved ones. To choose to do nothing is to surrender one’s self-image of standing for principles. Most people do not have the courage to face that choice. Hence, most propaganda is not designed to fool the critical thinker, but only to give moral cowards an excuse not to think at all."

What is the matter here? ...are you going to wait until it's too late?
No wait - it's already too late!!! ...far too late.

- & get this: I received from SocSec what my return will be. I didn't take SS when I was 62, I wanted to wait until I was 66. Well my yearly report told me simply that my return will be about $80.00 less than if I had been 66 the previous year. Surprised? Get ready folks. Someone - you & me - are going to have to cover our Exalted President's propensity to write bad checks. OMG! Shocking!

Why are terrorists suicidal?
Wondering why Muslim terrorists are so quick to commit suicide? No Christmas, no television, no cheerleaders, no car races, no football, no soccer, no pork BBQ, no hot dogs, no burgers, no chocolate chip cookies, no lobster, no nachos, no beer nuts, no alcohol, ad infinitum!
Rags for clothes and towels for hats. Constant wailing from the guy next-door because he's sick and there are no doctors. Constant wailing from the guy in the tower. On your knees facing east most of the day. More than one wife. You can't shave. Your wives can't shave. You can't shower to wash off the smell of donkey cooked over burning camel shit. Your bride is picked by someone else. She smells just like your donkey & is far uglier. Then they tell you that when you die it all gets better!
I mean, really, is there a mystery here?

On December 31 of this year...
...this is what you are going to be forced to endure:
"The tax hikes will hit every income level. The top bracket would rise from 35 percent to 39.6 percent; the 33 bracket will rise to 35; 28 will rise to 31; 25 will rise to 28; and the lowest bracket, 10 percent, will rise to 15 percent -- a 50 percent hike. Capital gains taxes will rise from 15 percent to 20 percent, and the tax on dividends will skyrocket to 39.6 percent, which is a far cry from the current 15 percent rate. The marriage penalty will return, and the child tax credit will be cut in half from $1,000 to $500."
Try not to forget this when the time comes around.
Please.
