...here it is the end of 2009. I'm not going to rant about this past year as if you've paid attention for yourself, you don't need me ranting & raving.

I've been a bit absent at my post these past coupla' weeks as I was getting so crazy about the health-care thing my head was about to explode...that & the crooked hacks in DC weren't doing anything much - "death-dealers" all - because of the Holidaze. I shall be back on my game x the 4th at the latest.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) this week called for a global tax on financial transactions, claiming that the revenue raised could be used for -- drum roll please -- more stimulus spending. H.R. 4191, which is currently before the House, calls for a quarter percent tax on the sale and purchase of all financial instruments, including stocks, bonds, options, futures, you name it. The idea, according to Pelosi, is to get Wall Street to pitch in with the government to help grow the economy -- er, government.

A sentiment like that should clearly define just how dangerous Pelosi is when it comes to economics. If she truly believes that Wall Street has never helped grow the economy, then she doesn't deserve the role of town dogcatcher, let alone that of Speaker. On the contrary, it has been the government's actions that have hindered the recovery and growth of our economy.

Since Pelosi seems aware that this tax will drive investment out of the United States, she proposes that all the major international players -- including Asia, the EU and the UK -- impose a similar tax just so that no one can escape from their righteous duty to pay more taxes (are you shittin' me?).

Pelosi made no indication of what would become of the tax once the stimulus spending was no longer needed. In her mind, there will always be a need for government involvement in the economy, so there will always be a need for more income redistribution.

Ike warned us in the late '50's - that this was going to happen. Now it has. China won't buy our treasury bonds any longer (read: they won't lend us any more money). Couple of months ago our Treasury Sec. (Goldman-Sachs butt-boy Geithner) went to Beijing & told a college seminar that their money was safe in the US...he was laughed - literally - off the stage. No one wants the Dollar any longer. China's using the dollars it has to buy up Africa, lots of Canada & anything that's not nailed down here in the US - all w/ our own money.

-India just bought 200 metric tons - yes, tons - of gold w/ the dollars (our dollars - don't lose sight of that one simple fact) it has accumulated a few days ago. It bought it at the ridiculous price of $1045 / troy! Insane! ...but it doesn't matter. They bought it w/ our own dollars which, in a very short time, will be worth nothing on the international market! It - India - no longer wants our "paper" & has changed it into real property. The whole world is laughing at us & we, here, in the US are in denial.

-Now, if Saudi Arabia turns its back on us & switches from the Petro-Dollar to the Petro-Euro, we are screwed to the wall. It'll cost $10 for gas, $5 for a loaf of bread - if we're lucky! ...I just re-read that & it is way too conservative.

-Here I go again: Prediction Time - somewhere within the next 5 years ( & probably much sooner, unless something magical happens & it might) there will be civil unrest the likes of which will make it seem like April 12, 1861 again. People are going to become desperate. Take their houses, cars, take everything & that'll piss'em off, but when people simply can't afford to eat (Homage: TT), the shit will definitely be in the wind. Despite plaudits by Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood as "the one stimulus program that seems to be working better than just about any other program," Cash for Clunkers has turned out to be one big flunker. As The Wall Street Journal reports, not only did this bureaucratic brainchild drive a 25 percent drop in new car sales for U.S. automakers in September as compared with last year, but the program's grand vision of advancing environmental salvation translated into a mere 0.2 percent reduction in annual oil consumption (less than one day's worth), and that's a best-case scenario.

To top it off, according to the University of Delaware's Burton Abrams and George Parson, all factors considered, the program imposed a net cost of about $2,000 per vehicle. In short, government made the country $1.4 billion poorer and spent nearly $3 billion to do so. And that's Washington's definition of a "working" program.

A friend of mine - one of the true "Obama Faithful" - writes me, nay screams at me, taunts me, that home sales are UP almost 10%...durable goods UP almost 5%. Both absolutely true. But wait. Let's look a little closer: home sales are up almost 10% from last month BUT they are still DOWN almost 30% from just last year! D'ja get that? Since last year & let us not forget how dismal last year was! OMG!!! ...& durable goods are up almost 5% but remove automobiles - & all the "free money" through the gov't largess (out of YOUR pocket, mind you, chump) from the equation & it falls to less than 0.8%! OMG!!!

All you O'bama supporters are fucking gullible fools! You're in denial. You hear what you want to hear, believe what you want to believe - never mind the simple facts! ...never mind the truth. "Oh, no, denial 'feels' so much better."

You're gonna' get exactly what you deserve - which makes me "feel" better - only problem: I'm gonna' be dragged down w/ you - & that doesn't make me "feel" warm & fuzzy.

As of this writing, Barack Hussein Obama's "fundamental transformation of the United States of America" has obligated taxpayers for an admitted $7 trillion in current and future debt for his so-called "economic recovery" act. Heaping insult upon near-fatal injury, Congress is now considering an additional $2 trillion in proposed tax increases for BO's CO2 folly, over $1 trillion for his nationalized healthcare experiment and untold trillions for another round of "economic recovery" programs. Furthermore, TARP Inspector General Neil Barofsky announced this week that total Federal exposure for all TARP "spending" had been leveraged to $23.7 trillion, equal to approximately one and one half times GDP(emphasis mine).

Of course, none of the aforementioned Obama initiatives, or the collection and redistribution of wealth to fund them, is authorized by our Constitution.

Therefore, if these schemes are not authorized by our Constitution, then we have an outlaw government, and if we have an outlaw government, then by what authority does that government assess and collect taxes?

When President Obama made that "treaty" w/ Russia (yesterday) depleting our warhead capability by 1/3, did he consult the Congress (not that I have any great love for their discernment)? Doesn't it say in The Constitution that any treaty must be ratified - I know they don't actually "ratify," but let's keep it simple - by 2/3 of the Senate? We ("...the People") have had our ability to effect change, slowly taken from us. You think some back-woods-country-bumpkin can come along & be president of these United States? Surely you know better. Oh, he/she might come from the woods alright, but they'll stay there unless "They" back 'em, bring 'em to the fore & then "They" own them. "No"? Look closer.

Am I advocating violence? I would like to say yes, but believe me, I'm no martyr & I am pretty sure there aren't 72 virgins waiting for me in heaven!
