howl . . . 09.08.04

This is still the greatest country in the world.
Not because of the government - in spite of it.
It is because of "We the People..."
Allow me to say that again: "It is because of us."

...but I'm truly at my dim-wits end w/ it all.

"They" have broken the social compact.We have no social obligation to our gov't because the gov't is no longer ours; one another, yes; the gov't, no; The Constitution, yes; DC, no.

It is not a travesty or any other flippant word one can come up w/, it is shameful...& we should be ashamed that we have allowed it - & continue to allow it - to happen.

I am ashamed I've allowed it to happen. I am ashamed that I continue to allow it to happen. I am ashamed that I am impotent to do anything about it. I am ashamed that I've allowed myself to become impotent...but again I ask simply, "What can we do"? "They" hold all the cards. The 500+ crooked self-serving DC morons hold 300,000,000+ of us captive...& what is the manacle they use? Fear. Fear based on force. Hummm, that sounds suspiciously like a definition of terrorism.

How have we gotten here?
