Here's another excerpt from an e-mail. I haven't been around much. Still am smitten over the election results & now this assault on the Second Amendment & x extension: me personally.

Ahhh well, same carp different day.

Now to the e-mail:

This is absolutely "on point," but my question(s) to you is:
- so what? ...& why?

The "so what" is can we do something about it? ...& my answer is: I don't know any more. Short of violent upheaval - which is an instant looser & to be honest I'm not the martyr-type not even if I were given assurances & a names list of my 72 virgins - there is nothing much we can do. "The Machine" is so intrenched that to dislodge it would be as monumental as removing the dykes...& the system itself has been so co-opted as to be a non-starter. We're allowed to vote - w/ the resultant end(s) - as a pacifier. You don't actually think you have a real say in who gets the nominations or who ultimately gets the "Big Prize"? Do you? Really?

Now to the "why" of it: BECAUSE WE LET IT HAPPEN & CONTINUE TO BE COMPLICIT - by our very silence -  IN ITS PROPAGATION!!! ...& now we feel we are all impotent (see above). I for one, am almost convinced that we, in fact, are. In fact I'm about ready to get out my pink suit.
